Today, I received a rather dodgy text that set off all my alarm bells. It was clearly a scammer masquerading as Royal Mail. The message claimed that I had an outstanding charge for a so-called second delivery or something along those lines. No doubt about it, this is a scam!

Got a text from someone pretending to be Royal Mail saying I needed to pay £2.99 for extra postage on a parcel I supposedly had. The message had a link to click and pay so they’d deliver the package. But I checked Royal Mail’s official site and it clearly states this is a scam. They never ask you to pay via a link like that and always tell you to use the reference number through their official website, which these scammers didn’t provide. Stay cautious!
