My wife got a call from this number around 11:30 at night, and the guy was telling her that a card had been used in Dubai. He even knew her name and where we live. Quite unsettling!

Pretty sure this was a scam call, with someone pretending to be from the Cahoot or Santander credit card fraud team. They didn’t request any personal info, but told me my card was charged in Dubai and Phoenix. I’d also got texts claiming to be from Cahoot or Santander, but when I rang their fraud department to double-check, turns out those texts weren’t actually from them.
