Got a call claiming to be from the 3 network upgrade squad. They were pushing some deal on the new iPhone 17, saying £25 a month with calls and data included for three years. Then, out of nowhere, they offered the iPhone 17 Pro Max for just £18 a month over 36 months. I couldn’t resist asking if they were actually with O2, and the bloke said yes, which made me laugh! 😂 Pretty funny how it all worked - one guy even passed me over to his “senior supervisor” midway through. Honestly, felt like a bunch of dab hands trying to scam.
