After coming back from my holiday, i noticed i had a bunch of calls from some bloke acting like he was ringing his mum. He’d say stuff like "Hi mum, it’s me, just checking in on ya." and little things like "Love you, will call you again soon." Sometimes he sounded a bit tipsy too. I guess it’s a trick to get you to ring him back cause you feel sorry, but then you end up paying a fortune cos it’s a premium line or something.

Got a call claiming to be from O2 saying I could get a 40% discount. They wanted my email to "verify" me, but I told them it seemed dodgy since O2 usually emails my bills anyway. After that, the caller just ended the call. Total scam, be careful!
