Got a call from someone with a foreign accent, seemed Indian. They claimed my PPI claim had gone through and gave me a reference number along with the amount I’d supposedly get. Immediately felt suspicious. They then asked for my name, age, and address, which I provided. She said the cheque would be hand-delivered. When she asked about my bank, I said I didn’t want to answer any more questions. I rang my actual PPI company afterwards and they said the call wasn’t from them. Definitely a SCAM.
