Got a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from BT’s tech support. She said my internet was hacked because of adult websites I’d supposedly visited. I suspected a scam right away, so I decided to play along. When I told her I actually worked for BT and asked which office she was calling from, she gave me some random London address. I told her that’s not where their tech department is, and she snapped back rudely, calling me the janitor at BT. Definitely watch out for these types of calls.
