I’m signed up with the TPS, yet this number rang my home phone at 3.13pm today. There was a weird AI-sounding female voice saying something about £99 being taken from my Amazon account earlier this morning, which sounded fishy right away. They asked me to press 1 or some other key to find out more. I just hung up then and there. It’s obvious this was a scam because I haven’t seen any Amazon charges like that on my accounts.
