Got a few calls from this number claiming there was suspicious activity on my card. They started with "Dear customer" in a robotic voice. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

There was this person speaking with a thick Indian accent, and honestly, I couldn’t catch much of what they were saying. I did catch the words 'internet service' though. Even after I said nicely that I wasn’t interested, he just kept going so I just hung up.

Got a recorded call claiming it’s from Amazon, saying they’re going to charge me £95 to renew some subscription I don’t even have. They offer options to press different numbers to speak to various departments. My advice? Don’t press anything and just hang up straight away. This is defo a scam. If you do end up pressing a number, there’s a good chance you’ll be connected to premium rate lines, potentially costing you a lot - sometimes hundreds of pounds - especially if you’re waiting on hold or trying to talk to someone. Just beware and don’t fall for it!
