I received a rather dubious communication that wasn’t an actual phone call but rather a recorded message, to put it more clearly, a pre-recorded snippet. It’s clearly a scam! The message claimed that HMRC was looking into me for tax evasion and urged me to press 1 to avoid any legal repercussions. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call from someone with an American accent claiming HMRC was after me - total scam, obviously. Quite dodgy and made me a bit uneasy, but I knew not to trust it. Watch out, folks!
