Got a call from this number yesterday, it was some Asian lady claiming to be from Citizens Advice, said it was about a debt I supposedly owe, which is total rubbish. These days, scammers are getting really sneaky, ringing mobile phones so you might think it’s a mate. They also use hidden numbers quite a lot. I’ve just stopped answering calls from withheld numbers now, and since I don’t have a blocking app, I try to remember the last four digits of suspicious mobiles and avoid picking up. The number of calls has dropped on my mobile, but now they’ve moved on to my landline, which is even worse! Honestly, I just don’t bother answering any calls anymore.

Just had a call from a bloke claiming to be part of the Credit Investigation Team, insisting it's some sort of government scheme. He mentioned that his superior had spotted my profile and was aware of my alleged debts, saying they could help. I cut him off before he could go on any longer, as I had no clue what he was on about! It's infuriating, to say the least. Coincidentally, I just heard back from my MP regarding my query about raising a discussion in Parliament on these unsolicited calls. He mentioned he’ll be in touch with the Department for Culture, Media and Support to investigate what measures the government is taking to tackle this incessant bother.
