I got a call from an Asian guy who wanted to know stuff about me. He said he's self-employed and had a few questions to ask. Claimed he was with 'Expert Savers' and somehow already had my full name, address, and phone number. Honestly, it made me feel quite uneasy. Got a call from someone wanting to know all about my job and stuff. He already knew my address though. When I asked him how he knew, he told me to look at their website and the sponsors list who provide them with data. I asked him to wait for a sec so I could look them up, but he just ended the call and now I can’t ring back. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

I've been getting calls from ExpertSavers nonstop, it's been every week for ages now. Today they said they called me yesterday too. Same bloke every time, says his name is either Ash or Nash, can't quite tell. I blocked the number before but they just use a new one each time. This one is 07595691048, sounds like an Indian guy. Expert Savers keeps ringing me up from loads of different phone numbers like 07423325588 and 07644511709, and they're really pushy about this survey they want me to do. I've told them loads of times I'm not up for it and asked them to stop contacting me, but they just keep talking over me like they don't care. I checked their privacy policy on their website, and they only say they'll delete info for people they have a business deal with, which I'm not, since I've never agreed to get calls or emails from them. I’m a bit confused about how this fits with GDPR rules, anyone know if this is allowed?

These annoying calls from scammers need to be stopped, seriously. It seems like our Government is pretty hopeless when it comes to dealing with cold calls - makes you wonder if they benefit from them somehow?

Avoid these lot at all costs, they’re proper crooks. Even if you put a block on one number, they’ll call back from another a few weeks later. They seem to be mostly Asian but always have really English sounding names. Take the bloke who called me earlier, said his name was Gavin - yeah, like I’m gonna buy that. Once you hear “Expert Savers” hang up and report them straight away. Loads of people end up getting caught in their trap. They try to get your details, but they probably already know your name, number and maybe where you live. Don’t hand over anything to them, not a bit!

Today my mum got a call from this company claiming they had some questions for her. I told the bloke to read out the questions before I’d entertain any of it (didn't hold my breath though). Then he started on about her washing machine and asked her to turn it on along with her laptop? What’s that all about? Seems dodgy to me, definitely wouldn’t trust them. I told him off and even threatened to call the cops, though I wasn’t planning on it. After that, he was way more reluctant to keep chatting, but honestly it was such a pain to get him off the phone. They’ve been ringing my mum loads, very pushy. I just wish they’d quit with the hassle - it’s such a nightmare. Isn’t there any way to block these calls once and for all?

I didn’t give them my new address and just told them I wasn’t interested. After seeing all these reviews, I reckon this is just the start of loads more calls from them!
