This number just rang me, and it was one of those automated messages with a very clear, posh male voice claiming to be from HMRC Revenue and Customs. It said there was some fraud investigation linked to me and told me to press 1 to get connected. They even threatened I'd be arrested soon if I didn’t do it. I’m currently sorting out some probate and inheritance tax stuff with HMRC, but I've been using another mobile number, which made me quite uneasy about this call.
