Got a really slick automated call saying it was from Amazon, claiming there was a £733 purchase for an iPhone that they’d supposedly cancelled because it looked dodgy. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone. I just hung up straight away. Total con, no doubt about it. Still, it was a bit unsettling - if I was older or struggling with cash, I might’ve fallen for it. Proper shame that these scams are out there messing with folks.

I saw a missed call from this number so I decided to call back, but it just said the line’s no longer working. Sounds like it’s probably some kind of scam.
