I got a call from someone named Eddie claiming to be from O2’s promotions team, offering a big discount - like 40%! He wanted to know how much my bill was. I told him if he really worked for O2, he should already have that info. He kept insisting, so I said it’s my work phone and I don’t handle the bills. He asked if he could ring me back tomorrow, which I refused. Then when he started with “listen to me,” I just hung up. Definitely sounded like some call centre pretending to be O2, nothing genuine.
