I got a call sayin I’m about to get a PPI payout by Friday. They also said if I take out life insurance, I’d get the full amount. So, I went ahead and did it. Now I’m stuck with payments and can’t cancel without charges. Really annoyed I fell for this, it’s proper rubbish.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be with the British Financial Services. They told me I won a claim and was granted £18,000. They wouldn’t say which firm sold me a dodgy PPI, but said they needed some more info from me. Didnt sound quite right to me.

Got a call where they used my name but refused to say who they were. They claimed I had some kind of claim that went through and needed extra details from me. Thing is, I’ve never made or had any claim like that before.

At last, someone actually talked to me this time - before, four calls and not a word. A person with an anglo-saxon name rang, but their accent definitely wasn’t anglo-saxon. They asked if I was Mr …, pronouncing my last name the same way some non-anglo-saxon folks have done before. When I explained there’s no Mr … here but there is a Mr … and said it properly, the caller just hung up. Because of that, I’m giving it a low rating.

I got a call saying I'd got £1800 pending from PPI, but as soon as I told them I'd never made a claim, they just hung up on me. Seems to me like they were fishing for my bank info. Very dodgy if you ask me.

some bloke rang me claiming to be from british financial services, but when i asked him to say the name again, he just wouldn’t. he was asking about a ppi claim or something, which i told him i've never made. then he just ended the call on me. weird experience.

Today I got a call from this number. My Vodafone kept warning me it could be fraud or a scam, so I just blocked it and didn’t pick up.

so apparently ive won a ppi claim worth £1800 but they told me i can only have the money if i agree to take life insurance with them. if i say no, the bank will deduct £900 from me. i said okay, im still £900 ahead, but the guy wasnt pleased and just hung up. theyve called me 4 times now, and im still waiting on my payments from feb and march.
