Got a call from 07426 304880 here in the UK, didnt pick up but they left a message saying to stay indoors. Sounds like one of those Covid scams to me.

Got a ring but no voicemail left. Guess it wasn’t anything urgent then. They can keep ringing all day and I’ll just let it go to voicemail if I don’t recognise the number or I'm out. Pretty easy way to deal with it.

Got a call from someone saying they're from Domestic and General, trying to get me to renew insurance for my washing machine, which they said had run out. I asked which machine they meant and they said the Whirlpool one - problem is, I never took out any insurance on any washing machine. Don't let yourself get tricked by this, it’s obviously a scam. The caller got quite rude when I told them to stop bothering me, even swore at me before hanging up. Honestly, just let them hang up first; if they cut the call off, it shows how unprofessional they are. I'm definitely reporting that number.
