Got a call from someone claiming they wanted to carry out a lifestyle survey around here. They said they were with a company named British Nation. When I asked who exactly they were representing, they replied that British Nation is a top brand in the UK. But when I asked what kind of category they were talking about and how they planned to use my info, they just ended the call.

Got another call just now askin for my personal info, the same stuff like those other numbers 0161 550 0198 and 0116 500 0203 did. Seems like the same scam really.

Got loads of calls from this number, I picked up today coz I was expecting some calls. At first, there was nothing, just silence, then some weird crackling sounds and an Asian guy started talking. I just ended the call. Blocked it straight away.

07418 607071 and 07418 607113 called me. I picked up the one ending in 071. The bloke spoke very broken English with a thick Asian accent. He kept asking if I was Mr Cook, but I'm a woman. When I said no, he assumed I was Mrs Cook and just started some robotic spiel. I tried to say I wasn't Mrs Cook either and he’d got the wrong number, but he wouldn’t listen, so I told him to shut up and pay attention. Then he just hung up on me.

It was a marketing firm, and when I told them my details were private, they replied they'd keep ringing until I responded to what they wanted. They called again, so I just blocked their number.

They just won't quit calling, despite my attempts to block them! Every time I try, they manage to ring me from a different number. It's quite unsettling how they seem to know my name and postcode. They ask all sorts of probing questions about my household gadgets and whether I have insurance. Very suspicious, if you ask me!
