The person who called said I was behind on payments. They asked me how much I supposedly owed. When I asked where they got that info from, they just gave me some figure and said they were from a recovery company called max recovery services. I didn’t give them any details and told them to take my name and phone off their list. I’ve since blocked the number.

There's a firm saying they can cut down your unsecured loans by 80%. They rang me three times today, 15 April 2021, at 12:05am, 3:17pm, and then again at 4:20pm. I had already blocked one of their numbers, but they keep switching it up. Honestly, it's a scam. They want you to pay upfront fees before doing anything, and if there was a real way to slash 80% off unsecured loans, I doubt they’d need to charge in advance like that.

Had a chat with Racheal, who said she’s from Manchester, using this number (Mobile number). When I asked why they were trying to scam me, she quickly said no sir (even though i told her i’m a woman), and said it’s not a scam but spam, done online so you can’t call back. When I asked how we’re supposed to get hold of them to sort my debt, she didn’t have an answer and just hung up. I enjoy trapping these lot.

I usually dont pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise but thought this might be important so I answered. A man with a thick Indian accent claimed he was from some national debt agency and asked for me by name. I’ve no debts at all, so I quickly worked out it was a scam, told him he had the wrong person, then ended the call. He rang back straight away and started swearing at me. I’ve blocked the number now.

They rang me and when I asked who they were, they said "National Debt Helpline". I immediately told them not to ring me again. But he kept asking what time he should call me back. I had to repeat ‘NO, DO NOT CALL AGAIN!’ like 7 or 8 times, even threatened to get the police involved, and he still asked what time to call me! I ended the call. Then he rang straight back, so I warned him I'd block the number if he carried on. All he said was he'd ring again tomorrow and hung up!
