I received a call from someone claiming to be with British Gas, asking if he could pop over to chat about lowering my gas bill. I turned him down. He was quite courteous and ended the call on a friendly note.

Without a doubt, it’s a scam! The caller claimed they were offering some sort of energy-saving switch to British Gas for me. It seemed fishy, especially coming from a mobile number. I've rapidly blocked the number—it’s just not worth the risk!

A lady reached out to chat about switching to Scottish Power, but I wasn't interested, so I politely declined. She pressed on, wanting to know when I’d prefer a call back—morning, afternoon or evening. I wasn’t having any of it, so I decided to block her. Cheers!

Got a call purportedly from British Gas. Initially felt like I was chatting with an actual human being, but now I'm wondering if it was AI instead. They requested the name of the account holder, which I declined to share. After that, the conversation turned robotic with automated replies. Quite peculiar! I'm left in doubt about its authenticity!
