Got a call from some bloke saying he was with 3, offering a 40% discount on my upgrade. When I asked why he was ringing from a mobile, he reckoned it was because he was part of the promo team working remotely, which sounded fairly legit at first. Then he wanted to know how much I usually spend monthly, and I just burst out laughing and said, "You tell me, you’re from 3 right?" Pretty clear he wasn’t actually from 3, if you ask me.

Got called by a woman with an Indian accent claiming she represented ‘Three, your phone company’. I don’t even use Three, so it was clearly a dodgy scam.
