Received a call just a couple of minutes back from someone claiming to be Sabian at O2, yet the number was an ordinary mobile. The chap had an Asian accent and it sounded like he was having a natter with someone else before addressing me. Quite peculiar!

I reckon this caller seems to be taking notes from TV programmes such as Scam Interceptors. They attempted to persuade me they were representing my mobile network, but it’s quite clear they didn’t reckon I’d catch on to who my actual provider is. Quite obnoxious and relentless, if you ask me. Someone ought to put a stop to this!

They were probing about how much I had shelled out on my last phone bill – likely angling for either a security question or trying to draft a convincing phishing email. My advice? Either slam the phone down immediately or, if you’re feeling cheeky, say you spent £8 million!
