Got a call about loft insulation, they were pushing a survey which they claimed cost £75 but said it'd be free if you're aged 50 to 80. Wouldn’t give any details on how much the actual insulation would set you back if you decided to go ahead. They told me the insulation would sort out any damp issues in the loft. Strange thing was, they said they’d already done loads of surveys around here and apparently mine was the only one left to be done? Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a voicemail from a recorded woman’s voice saying if I didn't buy something for £xxx to hit 1. Definitely a scam, 100%.

Got a phone call about some weird activity on my credit card, but it was totally a scam. The message was one of those pre-recorded things. Pretty obvious they were trying to trick me.

Got a recorded call saying it’s from my bank’s security team. They claimed there were two suspicious transactions: one for £300 from Amazon (which I don’t even use) and another for £1100 to some international money transfer. They said if I wanted to stop it… then ended the call right away. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying I ordered an expensive internet router. Since they didn't have my home phone number, I knew it was a dodgy scam. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call on my work phone from an unknown number, so I just let it ring out. They left a message saying something about a 59 pound charge and if I didn’t know about it I should press 1 to speak with someone from their customer service. Sounded fishy to me.

Got a call from a recorded message saying my bank account was overdrawn. Pretty annoying, especially since I know it’s not true. Seems like some automated scam trying to freak me out.

I received a dodgy message saying something about £59. It prompted me to hit 1 if I didn't recognise the transaction, so I could speak to a so-called customer service agent. Complete nonsense!

Saw it was a missed call and decided not to answer. After seeing these comments, I’m happy I didn’t bother.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the bank about some fraud issue. Definitely just another scam trying to scare me. Can't trust these phone calls nowadays!
