I received a phone call from someone claiming to be Jalen, representing BT about my internet service. Honestly, I wish this chap would take a hint and stop ringing me! I've no clue how he managed to get hold of my number, but I'm thoroughly fed up with the incessant pestering. I've already told him "no" countless times! It’s high time he stopped bothering me!

The caller spoke with an Indian accent and mentioned something about consumer choices, so I just ended the call.

I’ve had loads of calls from this number, like around 9 yesterday and a few more today. I picked up once and it was some guy with a strong Indian accent who spoke terrible English and wouldn’t say who he was or what he wanted. I just ended the call but somehow the calls keep coming through, even though I blocked the number. It’s really annoying!

Got a call from an unknown number just now. Didn't pick up, and after checking the reviews here, I went ahead and blocked it straightaway.

Definitely a scammer, so I’ve blocked it. It’s annoying when you get a call from a mobile and can’t tell where it’s from. Got a call from a woman with an Indian subcontinent accent, said she was calling from some place called "Savers" or something. I told her I wasn’t interested and asked her to put me on their do not call list, but she kept trying to ask me questions. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number. This is the fourth different number I’ve had from these lot now.

Somebody rang me up knowing my address and name, which I never gave them. They started asking me questions and I told them I suspected a scam, especially since I'm a police officer. They went silent for a bit, then said they just wanted to ask some simple yes or no questions. Honestly, just block calls like this and don’t respond with yes or no - it might give them control or access to your info. Better safe than sorry!

Not sure if his name was Asim or Aseem, but he had a really strong Indian accent that was tricky to get. He claimed to be calling from somewhere that sounded like "washy wash"? When I asked him to say it again, he just cut me off. Ended up blocking the number.

this number rang me up the other day, some guy called jordan wanted to talk about broadband. i kept telling him to remove my info and not ring me again, had to say it like 3 times. each time jordan just said “you ticked an opt-in box online, so i’m allowed to carry on!” i told him that made no difference, i was asking him nicely to stop phoning and erase my details, but he just kept trying to sell me stuff cos apparently i’d “opted in”. really annoying!
