Some bloke rang saying he was Sam from British Gas, telling me I’d been chosen to switch over. I told him I’m already with British Gas, and then he just started getting rude and calling me names!

They kept asking me stuff but wouldn’t say what the call was for or who they were calling on behalf of. Proper frustrating.

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be with a consumer service. When I inquired if it was related to a survey, her response was a firm "no, I'm simply wanting to verify the information we hold about you." Feeling rather uninterested, I politely declined and hung up the phone.
