Back in February this year, I got a call from 07418356662. The woman on the other end said her firm is planning to release a magazine in April, and she wanted to see if I'd be interested in advertising my painting and decorating service in it. She claimed that all proceeds from the magazine sales would be donated to the children's hospital nearby. She also mentioned that the advert would cost me nearly £200. I asked a few questions, and she told me the magazine would be sold by going door to door and standing outside local shops. Honestly, the whole thing felt very unprofessional - from the caller herself to what she said about her company.

Got a voicemail from some prerecorded message saying there was a fraud claim made using my name. They said I needed to press 1 right away or else I’d get into trouble with the law. They said they were calling from HMRC or something like that.
