Got caught up with someone pretending to be a macaw breeder. They asked for a deposit first, then kept trying to squeeze more cash out of me before I could even pick up the bird. The videos they sent didn’t even show the actual birds they were selling, totally fishy.

This bloke claimed I was due over £3000 from some PPI thing, said he’d get it wired to my bank. I wasn’t having any of it though. Told him straight up I wasn’t sharing my personal info with a complete stranger, and as soon as I said that, he just hung up on me!

Some bloke rang me up saying I was going to get over £3000 from some PPI thing, but honestly, I’m not buying it. When I told him I wasn’t about to share my personal info with a stranger, he just hung up right away. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Sounds dodgy to me. They said they were from some PPI outfit and claimed they wanted to send me £3500. They knew my name and address (but missed the door number) and asked for my dob plus my bank sort code and account details. I gave them a wrong account number a few times. Once I did that, they started getting annoyed and then just cut the call. Definitely feels like a scam.

I've no idea who's been ringing me, but they're always asking for some Graham Lee. I've blocked the number loads of times, but they just keep switching numbers and calling again. This has been happening for about four months now, and when I spoke to my mobile provider, they said they can't do anything about it. It's really frustrating!
