Wasn't expecting the call as I usually just ignore numbers I don't know and let them go to voicemail. After a bit of silence, a recorded female voice came on saying something about my bank's security team spotting two odd purchases, one from Amazon and another a transfer. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to sort it. Obviously, I just blocked the number.

Got a weird call earlier from some automated voice claiming I'm wanted for tax evasion 🙄. My taxes are totally up to date, so I just ignored it. Don’t press any buttons if you get the same call, just end it straight away and report it as a scam.

This number was calling me for the first time, but it's the same lot as premium survey who've been pestering me before with other numbers. They hung up after about 30 seconds, def a scam.

I’ve been getting calls from this number despite being registered with TPS. I wonder if TPS actually works! Whenever they ring, my call blocking service picks up and the caller hears an automated message saying my number is shielded, which usually makes them just drop the call. Yet, they still keep trying like they don’t get the hint they’re blocked.

The past several days, i keep getting calls from an 07418 number so i just blocked it. Then today, got another call from a number very much like the first but with the last two digits switched up, so blocked that one too. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't know. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.
