I received a rather dubious call from someone who, despite having an unmistakable Pakistani accent, claimed to be an investment consultant hailing from Italy. He requested a brief chat of about 15 minutes to lay out his so-called financial scheme in depth. It became abundantly clear to me that I was dealing with a con artist, so I opted not to entertain this nonsensical dialogue any further. I informed him that I wasn't at all interested in any investments and ended the call promptly.

I've reported this number and blocked it, but it kept ringing me non stop, like about six times in a row! These constant calls are driving me nuts. Seriously, when will the government actually do something to stop all these scam and cold calls?

This number just won't stop calling, even after I've blocked it. They say they're doing a survey, asking loads of personal health stuff, and keep insisting they're not trying to sell me anything. It’s really annoying because no matter how many times I say no, they keep coming back with the same questions.

Blocked this number and put in a report here, and my phone still caught it ringing 6 times in a row - they just wouldn’t give up! Honestly, when will the government step up and put an end to all these annoying cold calls and scams? It’s getting ridiculous.

Got a call from someone saying they were doing a health survey related to Covid. When I questioned them, they just hung up on me.

A number rang me up, wanted my thoughts on the Wall Street Journal. They kicked off by asking how old I was, then went on about whether I had a pension or any other sort of investments. I didn't bother answering a single thing, just ended the call straight away!

When I picked up, I simply said “hello.” A bloke gave an Italian name but spoke Italian with a strong North African or Arab accent. Right away he told me I hadn’t said my name. I told him anyone who rings me already knows who I am, so I don’t have to state it. He tried to pitch some financial deal to me, but I wasn’t interested. Still, he kept saying I had to tell him my name and that he’d be calling back regardless. In the end, I just switched my phone off.
