My mum got a call from this number, but the moment she picked up, they just hung up. I'm just waiting to see if they ring again. So irritating!

If folks just ignored cold calls, they’d probably stop pretty quick. But since some do answer, these calls keep coming. I personally don't bother with them at all, and whenever a firm rings me out of the blue or sends unwanted post, I make it a point to never do business with them. Been doing that for years, and it’s worked fine for me.

Lucky for me, when I block a number, I never get a ring from them again. I've always been curious about what the caller actually hears when they're on the blocked list - anyone got any clue?

It was just one of those robot calls. I picked up and said hi, then a machine just replied with goodbye!

Got a call from this number and they said they were from my internet company. But as soon as I asked them to name the provider they supposedly worked for, they just ended the call. Quite sketchy if you ask me.
