This number keeps calling me loads, usually about phone deals or something. They ring like 7 times and are always trying to get your banking info. Total scam, watch out! Last week I played along for a bit and the woman told me she’d sent a link to approve a payment from my account. I just hung up straight away and never clicked on anything. Definitely dodgy!

This call is genuinely from O2, I’ve followed it through a couple of times and managed to reach someone from their UK team. Had a chat with a lady today who explained it’s actually a third party making the calls. Honestly, it’s shocking that a big firm like O2 would use such methods to pull in new clients. When I contacted the TPS, they told me O2 are accountable since it’s carried out for them, and these callers hide behind UK numbers. Apparently, it’s becoming quite typical for British companies to outsource their cold calling to Asia.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2 and that it was time to renew my contract. Bit odd since I’m actually with Giffgaff. When I asked for proof, the bloke got nasty and even said he’d bomb my house! Said he was working remotely, but I could hear loads of voices chatting in the background. Definitely blocking this number now.

Loads of calls coming through from this number and others that look the same, all of which I’ve blocked. My app, Hiya, spots them as spam and stops them straight away. I did pick up once and it was someone from India pushing an O2 mobile phone deal. Seemed dodgy to me, so I’ve made sure these numbers are on my blocked list now.

I've received a rather dodgy call from individuals purporting to be from O2, stating there was an issue with my account. The thing is, I don’t even have an account with O2! It really feels like they're specifically targeting O2 customers with this ruse. Just a heads up to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

Looks like this phone number belongs to a series all linked with the same call centre. I’ve noticed several other numbers nearby in the same range too.

this number keeps calling me at odd hours but nothing is said when i pick up! sounds like a robo dialer or some automated machine. didnt seem legit at all so i just blocked it. wouldnt think it’s anything urgent if they can’t even speak!
