I got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying there was a fraudulent purchase on my account. They told me they could help stop it by removing my linked cards from Amazon, which I did. After that, they asked if I wanted to protect myself from scams on other sites too. Then they started asking for access to my phone data and what online bank accounts I used. If anyone ever tells you to download an app from your phone's app store during calls like this, that's a big warning sign - just end the call immediately!

Got a call out of the blue about some insurance or pension thing - totally felt like a scam! Definitely something dodgy going on there.
