Got a call earlier from 07417-445466. It was one of those automated voice messages, but this time it wasn’t the usual “Microsoft” scam - they said it was from “your bank’s security team” warning me about a suspicious charge on my Amazon account. I wasn’t falling for it and ended the call straight away. I’m pretty sure if I’d stayed on the line, they’d try to get my personal info to clean out my bank. Loads of people have reported this number already, so why hasn’t it been stopped yet?

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, telling me my PC was in trouble and asking why I hadn’t answered before. Thing is, this was the very first call I’ve had on my home phone, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a con.
