Just the other night somebody shared a really useful tip on how to handle calls trying to trick you out of money. If you don’t tell the police about these scams, they can't really act, and sadly, some folks end up getting caught out. So please, do your bit and report every scam call you get.

weird situation here! got a text from this number saying it was from the dvia, claiming i was owed a refund on my vehicle tax with a link to "sort it out" online which looked like a dodgy attempt to grab my card details. problem is, my car doesn’t even have to pay vehicle tax, i’ve owned it for over 5 years now. really smells like a scam to me. also, why is this number connected to a garage door company? very odd indeed.
