Got a call from an Indian woman, loads of noise in the background. Said she was from the NHS and knew my first name. Asked if I had any covid symptoms, or if there was anyone over 60 or under 9 in my house with symptoms. She gave my postcode but it was one I used like 10 years ago. Then she started asking about my meds, so I just told her my doctor knows what I take. I thanked her and ended the call. Totally felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was ringing from the NHS about Covid. She asked loads of questions and then tried to verify my identity by giving me the wrong house number to check. After I didn’t match it, she just hung up. Feels very much like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS giving info about Covid. They asked if I was showing any symptoms. I told them I've got all the NHS leaflets and would contact my doctor if necessary, then ended the call. Definitely a SCAM!

Someone rang saying they were from the NHS, wanting to update their records. They asked if I had any symptoms, how many kids I have, how many family members are over 60, and if I was taking any medicine. Then they asked for my address, but it was an old one we left like 15 years ago. I told them I’m not giving out info on the phone and hung up. Tried calling back and it went straight to an EE voicemail. Sounds really suspicious to me. Best to just ignore these calls.

Got a call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent saying he was from the NHS. Couldnt catch everything he said but it was all the usual stuff people mention here. He kept insisting "this aint a scam" which just made me more suspicious. Asked if we were signed up with a GP, which seems daft if he was legit cos they should already know that. Oddly, he ended by telling me to call 111 if I had any issues. Felt off to me.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent who was really blunt, saying he was from NHS Track and Trace. He told me I had Covid and needed loads of info to stop it spreading. Kept wanting my address, even gave me a wrong one, and repeatedly asked for my date of birth and postcode. When I questioned where he got my info since I hadn’t been tested, he just hung up. Watch out - sounds like they’re trying to steal your identity.

I got a call from a man claiming to be with the NHS, started off asking about Covid, then suddenly switched to life insurance stuff. When I asked how that was NHS related, he said he had to check if my insurance covered Covid. Then he wanted my personal info - I just burst out laughing and he immediately ended the call. Seems like a pretty risky scam to me.
