Got a message with a link supposedly from Evri about picking up a parcel. I already use their app and I wasn’t waiting on anything to be delivered. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

I got a text in the middle of the night, around 1:13am, saying it was from EVRI (something like evri-iteamtrack). Thankfully, I knew straight away it wasn’t the real EVRI site since I hadn’t got any emails with a tracking link. This kind of message is definitely a scam, so please be careful - don’t click any links especially if you aren't using a VPN, because they might be able to find out your location or IP address. Always double check your emails for a genuine link or shipping confirmation from Evri before trusting any random text.

I got a text from this number saying I should get in touch via evri-itemtrack.com. My laptop wouldn’t load the site but my phone did, and it said Evri had attempted to drop off a package earlier today. Thing is, we know our usual courier well and I actually saw her this morning, yet there was no parcel for us. I did try to see how far this thing would go, but bailed when it asked me to ‘confirm my connection’. Honestly, it all feels a bit dodgy and like a scam to me.
