I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I’m just going to wait for a letter instead since HMRC would already have my real contact details. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from a number saying it was Hutchinson 3G UK Ltd or something like that. Didn’t recognise it at all and I was busy at work, so I just let it ring off. Later found out it was one of those dodgy insulation scams. Not answering strange numbers is definitely the safest bet!

Got a call from someone at Abbey Mill about some National Awareness Council thing. They asked if I had a Will and said if not, my wife wouldn’t get everything. Total rubbish. I messaged him along for a bit, then he passed me to Hayley Parker who just kept going with the nonsense. Honestly, try to keep them on the line as long as possible - the longer they’re chatting, the less they’re making! Cheers, Philip.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who asked for me by name. I asked who he was, but he mumbled something I couldn't make out. Then he said he was ringing to verify if I had the right legal paperwork sorted. When I asked him which documents he meant, he just went silent and ended the call!
