Received a random text from EE with a two-step verification code I never requested - turns out it’s a phishing trick. I phoned EE and they told me fraudsters often do this, hoping to sneak into your account and then ring you claiming there’s some problem. They said my account looked fine after checking it out. Two hours after the message, this same number called me, so I just blocked it straight away.
