Just got a call warning me about some fake fraud alert. Seems like a total scam trying to freak people out!

I've gotten three calls today from different numbers, and they all said the exact same thing, just like what others have mentioned here.

Seems like these lot are quite pushy, calling again within an hour from a different number! They probably don’t get that blocking them shows you’re onto their scam. Definitely looks like some dodgy business going on here.

Got a call today at 11am about BT fraud, even tho I thought this scam was dead? Seems like they're still at it, just switching up the numbers. Same old trick really.

Today I've had two calls from different numbers with an American woman’s voice pretending to be from BT, warning me about some fraud and telling me to press 1 for more info. If the number’s really on the Three network like it claims, why haven’t they just shut it down? It’s well annoying.

Just a heads up, they ring from 01379 96873 - total scam, so don’t even think about pressing any keys, best thing is to just end the call straight away.

Some woman named Sarah called me with a foreign accent, claiming she was from BT. I quickly realised she was a fraud though. When I told her she was lying, she just ended the call straight away. By the way, I'm not even a BT customer. Total scammer!

Today alone I’ve gotten four calls from different numbers, all from an American-sounding woman with a recorded voice saying she was from BT tech support. She kept telling me to press 1, but I just ended the call every single time.

I've had this happen three times today as well, and the last call was from a London area code. It was definitely the same person on the phone. They said they were from BT, but I don’t even have a BT account or broadband with them. Such a strange thing to keep getting!
