Their tone was weird and they didn’t check any details properly, so I knew it was a scam. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up quickly.

I ended up telling them off for pretending to be NHS staff and taking advantage of people when they’re already worried. They told me to ring 111 if I felt unwell and needed help quickly, which started me going again about how for real emergencies you should call 999, not 111. They had no right spreading misleading info like that.

I decided to test them, asked for the local weather, which foundation trust they were from, their registered office and who the Chief Exec was. As soon as I did, they just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the NHS about Covid and then asked if I had life insurance. It seemed really fishy to me. When I told them I didn’t have any life insurance, they just said thanks and hung up. The bloke sounded South Asian, and there was loads of background noise. I was about to end the call before he said goodbye. No doubt it was a scam. Never share your info with calls like this.

Got a call from 07411957037, sounded like the person had a foreign accent. They said they were ringing from the NHS about Covid 19 and wanted to know if me or anyone in my family had shown any symptoms recently. Oddly enough, they then asked if we had life insurance. That’s when I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS asking about Covid info. They actually knew my name which made it seem legit at first. But when I asked for more info, they couldn’t really give me anything and just ended the call. Feels like a total scam to me. It’s so wrong how they target people who might be more trusting. They really ought to be caught and punished.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he's from NHS England. He asked if I was experiencing any COVID symptoms, whether I had an NHS doctor, if my life insurance covered COVID, and if I was using the NHS Track & Trace app on my phone. Didn’t give me any official info, and honestly, NHS wouldn’t ring me from a mobile number. Definitely a scam, so I just blocked the number.

I didn’t pick up since my phone warned me about possible fraud. After reading other folks’ experiences on here, it seems like a typical scam - they try to sell you rubbish and then ring you again pretending to offer a refund, but really just looking to take even more cash. Just a heads up, if someone calls with a really thick Indian accent and uses an English or Christian name, chances are it’s a con.

I got a call where they kept on asking for some kind of validation code, saying it was about adding covid 19 coverage to my life insurance. They were really pushy but honestly, everything they said just sounded like nonsense to me.
