6 monthsHad someone try to scam me for my bank details just now.10 monthsSantander just sent me a message saying they've blocked some charges on my card ending 7194. It mentioned a payment of £80 to ‘MONEY TO HMPPS’ on 12-10-2025 at about 1:47pm. They want me to reply Y if I did it, or N if I didn’t recognise it or suspect fraud. They also gave a phone number, 08082800801, and a PIN code 582 to use if I call. This definitely feels dodgy to me. Total scam, don’t trust it!SantanderTO HMPPS2 yearsGot a call from a number claiming to be my bank, saying there were some declined charges on my card ending in four digits. According to them, on 06-02-2025 at 5:55pm, I supposedly owed £39.95 to "resumaza.com". Never heard of it before, so I looked it up - sounds like some newfangled CV-building site revolutionising how people apply for jobs. Doesn’t apply to me, I’m retired anyway. They asked me to respond with Y if I recognised the payment, or N if I didn't. Alternatively, they said I could ring 08082802784 and enter a 3-digit PIN, 851, when prompted. Seems fishy to me.2 yearsGot a voicemail on my phone yesterday from someone claiming to be from my bank, saying they wanted to verify some transactions on my card/account. They also mentioned that any future texts from the bank would come from the number +447411743762. The number looked clickable or underlined, not sure why. They said those messages will show the details of the transactions and instructions on what to do next.2 yearsTotally a scam, even if it shows the last digits of your card, don’t trust it. It even pops up initially with a fake Santander number stating this number here will get in touch. Best just ignore it.SantanderBest2 yearsJust like others have said, this looks like one of those Santander transaction scams or something similar.Santander2 yearsThey said they was from Santander and gave some transaction details, but I rang the bank straight away and had my card cancelled.Santander2 yearsReceived a message claiming they gotta review some recent stuff on my card/account and said the next text would come from 7411743762 with transaction info and instructions on what to do next. Definitely a scam.3 yearsGot a text saying it was from Santander, saying I’d get another message from the number shown to confirm a transaction. Then the next message asked me to reply yes or no about a supposed bank deal, plus they gave a phone number to ring for checking. Definitely a SCAM. Just bin it.Santander3 yearsCan anyone tell me if this number is dodgy or not? Seems a bit off to me.3 yearsSo glad I looked up this number first, turns out its a total scam.
