Had the exact same thing as everyone else. First, they said it was the NHS, then when I asked more, they switched to saying it was Test and Trace. Pretty obvious they were trying to sell some kind of life insurance. Got a call from 07411 492983, sounded like an Asian bloke claiming he was ringing from NHS Covid-19 support. I asked which hospital and he said Manchester, but when I pressed for the address, he got all shaky. I told him he was talking rubbish and then the call just cut off!

At first, they were just asking about symptoms to see if I might have COVID - but as soon as they started asking if I had life insurance, I got suspicious. Ended the call straight away - definitely a scam.

Got a call from a man claiming he worked for the NHS. When I questioned him about proving his identity, he gave me an NHS number. Then he started asking if I had any covid symptoms and whether I was signed up with a local doctor. Out of the blue, he asked about my life insurance too. I told him I didn't trust it was really the NHS and ended the call. They tried ringing me again but I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from the NHS about my COVID jab. He wanted to check if I was well enough to get the vaccine. I told him I was, but something felt off. Then he asked if I had a GP, and I told him if he really worked for the NHS, he’d already have that info. After that, he just hung up. Definitely seemed dodgy, but I’m not sure what his end game was. I guess if I had given him any details, he might’ve tried to get my bank info next.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was Alan Wood from Manchester, saying he was ringing on behalf of the NHS. He asked if I had private medical insurance, and when I questioned why he needed that, he said it was for some sort of emergency response list they were setting up. I told him no, I didn’t have any private cover. Then he suddenly said he worked for Barclays?! After that, he started asking about my life insurance, and when I refused to give details, he told me to just call 111 in case of emergencies. What a load of rubbish!

Got a call from 07411492983 today, some woman with a foreign accent claiming she was ringing from a Covid jab centre in Richmond, London. She asked if my postcode was still a certain one, and I told her it’s not been that for over a decade. Then she wanted to know my current postcode, but I told her no way, I needed proof who she was first. She kept trying to persuade me, but I just said no thanks and ended the call. The number was a mobile one and there was a noticeable lag, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.
