Today I saw a bunch of missed calls from 07411 014893, so I decided to pick up. Turns out it was one of those scam calls. They claimed there was a problem with my National Insurance number and told me to press 1 or else I’d be arrested. Totally dodgy, so I went ahead and blocked the number.

So, I got a ring from someone claiming to be NHS Track and Trace, asking if I had any covid life insurance. I wasn’t falling for it, so I fibbed. Then they called again saying my life insurance auto-renewal was up and could only be sorted over the phone. I just told them I don’t want this insurance anymore and ended the call. Definitely a scam!

Got a call first thing this morning from someone asking if we had any symptoms and wanted details about our GP. When I asked why a call centre in India was ringing me, they just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the NHS, wanting to book my vaccine. They even knew my first name! I didn’t bother, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Surely the NHS wouldn’t call on a mobile like that? Some people might fall for it though. What a bunch of muppets.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS. They started asking if I’d had any Covid symptoms lately, if I even had a GP, and then threw in questions about my life insurance. Didn’t buy it and the moment I questioned him, he just ended the call.

Received a call from someone saying they were with the NHS, asking if I'd got their app on my phone. They wanted to check my address, but they mentioned a place I haven't lived at for more than six years. When they then asked for where I actually live now, I just ended the call.

Got a call from a lady asking loads of questions about Covid. She wanted to know if anyone at home was either over 60 or younger than 9. Then she went on about whether I’ve got life insurance or any medical cover sorted. She also mentioned that 111 would ring me up about arranging my Covid jab, which was odd since I’ve already had my first one and sorted the second appointment myself. Proper weird chat that was.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent checking on life insurance details. She wanted me to verify the info they supposedly had on me. I hung up as soon as she started asking for my home address and stuff.

I got a phone call from this number and they said they were from NHS Twickenham. They wanted to know about my upcoming covid jab date but then started asking weird personal stuff about life insurance and other private info. When i asked if i could ring them back on a proper Twickenham number, they just dropped the call straight away.

Someone rang me up wanting to know if any of my family members had the Covid jab done. When I asked for his details, he just ended the call straight away.

This number called me saying they were checking details for the NHS Covid App, which sounded a bit off. Then the caller started asking about my life and health insurance, so I didn’t hang around and ended the call. I looked up the number afterwards and decided to block it.

I got a call earlier from someone claiming to be from the NHS, asking about my covid jab and some life insurance stuff. I said I already sorted everything and wasn’t interested in changing anything. Then they said alright and just hung up. After a bit, I thought, hang on, that probably wasn’t the NHS at all. Luckily, I didn’t give them any personal info though. Do you reckon they’re maybe recording calls to use for some kind of scam?

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying it was about C19. He actually said my name and wanted me to verify it. I told him to carry on, but then the call just ended suddenly. Pretty sure it was a scam, so I’ve put the number on block.

Got a call from someone called Martin supposedly from the NHS. He was asking about my overall health, if I’d had the flu shot, and also about my COVID vaccine status. He tried to find out if I had any health insurance and who my provider was. Ended up hanging up on him, was a bit weird :/

Got a call earlier from a bloke with an Asian accent, going on about the covid vaccine. He reckons I'll get a notification by the 15th of March. Then he suddenly asked if I had life insurance and who the provider was, saying it was needed. I wasn’t convinced that had anything to do with the jab, so I didn’t give them any info. Kept asking who he was working for, but he dodged it. Bit sketchy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were updating NHS records. Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, asking about my life insurance provider and how much I was paying. He said something about the NHS stepping in if they didn’t pay out on Covid claims. Then he asked if I had the track and trace app on my phone. I was pretty suspicious and fed him some dodgy info to see if it pops up again somewhere. The number was 07411491637, coming from a mobile.

Got a call from a bloke with a thick South Asian accent, sounded like he was reading off a script at a call centre or something. Said he was from the NHS and was asking about Covid symptoms. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

He said he was calling from the NHS, though his accent was a bit hard to make out. Then he started going on about Covid and life insurance, which threw me off. Seemed a bit odd - why would the NHS need info about my life insurance? He claimed some insurers aren't paying up properly 😂😂 so I just told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
