Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT saying there were problems with my internet. I asked for a reference number to prove it but they just went quiet. I don’t even have a BT landline, so it seemed fishy to me. Plus, why would BT ring me on my mobile for faults? I ended up just hanging up on them.

Got a voicemail from a woman speaking with an American accent. It was a really old recording, warning about two charges: one for £199 on Amazon and another for £299 via International Money Transfer. It asked me to press 1 to confirm, or press 2 to talk to an operator. I’m pretty sure if you speak to them, they just try to get your personal details. This message hasn't changed at all over a long time! I don’t answer unknown calls, so they're just wasting their efforts with me!
