Got a call from someone claiming to be from SKY, saying I could get 40% off my phone bill. I told them I’d just renewed with them recently and already got a 20% discount. Then the caller suddenly switched to offering a free Sky bill, before changing it again to a 40% discount on my Sky TV package instead. Felt fishy since I signed an 18-month contract for Sky TV back in July 2024. Didn’t share any personal info but they did seem to know I had a Sky mobile, although they didn't know which model I use. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call claiming to be from EE offering me a 30% discount, but they got really annoyed when I wouldn't give my name and address. I said I'd just call EE myself to get the discount and asked for her details. She just ended the call straight away. Proper cheeky behaviour.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Tesco Mobile saying there was an issue with my account. Thing is, I cancelled that account well over a year ago, so I reckon it was just a scam and I just ended the call straight away.
