I got a call from a woman with a South African accent saying she was from PCP Car Finance, telling me I’d won over £800 from a court case settlement linked to car finance. But I told her I hadn’t had a car or car finance since 2008. Then she started saying I was being aggressive. When I asked her to send me a copy of the ‘recorded call’ she claimed we had, and told her I thought it was a scam, she just hung up. I’ve reported the whole thing to the City of London Police already. Definitely a dodgy scam.
