Got a call from someone claiming to be from Unicom. I’m actually switching to a different provider right now, so it was weird how they knew that. The call came through at about 3.45pm, and they told me my phone and broadband would be disconnected at 4pm the same day. I freaked out since I rely on the wireless for my card machine, especially with the weekend before Christmas. I put the number into this site and found out it was a scam. Definitely a hoax.

Kinex from Manchester keeps ringing non-stop about switching my business providers like electricity, gas, phone, and even water. Honestly, best to just ignore and put them straight on block!
