Said he was calling from O2 but was ringing me on a Vodafone number, which seemed odd right away. Didn’t even get my first name right and demanded my sort code. I wasn't about to share any details. If it were really about renewing my contract, they’d already have all that info, so why ask? He said it was all encrypted though. The bloke sounded like he had an accent from abroad. I told him I didn’t trust it and refused to give anything. When I tried to end the call, it wouldn’t let me, so I just switched my phone off.
