Just got this dodgy text from ‘NATWEST’ saying I added a new payee called ‘MRS A JOHNSON’ on 25th May at 9:02pm. Really dodgy cause I definitely didn’t do that. The message told me to check out a link that looked proper weird: [#]natwest-manages[###]/. Be careful out there, looks like a phishing scam to me!

Got a text claiming to be from NATWEST saying "A new payee MRS A JOHNSON was added on 25/05 at 21.02 PM. If this wasn’t you, click here: [link]." Definitely a fake - even if I actually banked with NatWest, I wouldn’t trust it. Odd that no one else seems to have mentioned this scam yet. The date on it is weirdly set a few days ahead and why say 21.02 PM? Feels like it’s a dodgy overseas scam going on.
