Dodgy scammers alert! I picked up a call from a random number while waiting for someone else to ring me back. It turned out to be a robot saying HMRC were about to take legal steps against me and to press a button to chat to an advisor to sort it out. Total rubbish, HMRC don’t contact folks like this. Networks really ought to stop these calls. For now, I’ve blocked the number on my phone, but I expect they’ll be trying again from a different one pretty soon. What a nightmare!
