Just got a call from 07406 664241 on my BT landline, which is unlisted, at about 2.22pm on Friday 6/11/2020. The phone rang, I answered and straight away some automated voice claiming to be from Amazon Prime said they were about to charge me £79.99. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime! I dialled 1471 to check the number and found out it’s linked to 24 Seven Communications Ltd from back in December 2009. Feels like someone’s either using old phone numbers or buying from a batch that’s no longer active for scams. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
